Biography

Samantha Hurtado, PA-C is a certified physician assistant with clinical experience in orthopedic and pain-management care. Her background includes supporting the care of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions affecting the muscles, bones, and joints.

She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University and holds certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Her professional experience includes conducting patient assessments, reviewing diagnostic studies, collaborating with physicians, coordinating follow-up care, and providing patient education.

PA Hurtado has worked with patients experiencing postoperative pain, joint pain, and other conditions that can affect movement and everyday activities. This experience helps her support physicians in caring for patients with a range of orthopedic and pain-related concerns.

PA Hurtado’s clinical background supports her role at Premier within a physician-led, multispecialty injury-care setting. As part of the Premier care team, she supports care for short- and long-term conditions affecting the muscles, bones, and joints that may interfere with movement or daily activities.

She also helps coordinate care for patients experiencing pain or injuries after car accidents or work-related injuries, working alongside physicians and other members of the patient’s care team. Depending on the patient’s needs, care may involve physical therapy, pain management, or physical medicine and rehabilitation.
