Biography
Galina Moldafina, PA, is a physician assistant who works alongside board-certified providers to evaluate and care for patients in pain from injuries like those related to motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, and other trauma-based musculoskeletal conditions. She assists with patient evaluations, helps coordinate comprehensive, non-surgical injury care, and supports patients throughout their care.
Ms. Moldafina earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Touro University. Before pursuing her physician assistant education, she studied biology at Brooklyn College and Kingsborough Community College. During her graduate education, she trained in several areas of medicine, including internal medicine and family medicine, gaining experience evaluating patients and contributing to individualized care plans alongside physicians.
Fluent in English and Russian, Ms. Moldafina provides care for patients throughout the Smithtown communities. She believes clear communication and patient education are important parts of recovery and takes the time to help patients understand their injuries, treatment recommendations, and rehabilitation plans so they feel informed.
