Biography:

Gautam Khakhar, M.D. is a New York board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. He was trained at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he completed a 7-year BA/MD program. He went on to complete an internship in Internal Medicine at NYU Medical Center. During his residency at Columbia Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Medical Center, he was given the honor of being the chief resident of his department.

Dr. Khakhar has been involved in numerous research projects during his career. As a diplomate of the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he has presented his research in national conventions and has made many platform presentations. He has conducted studies on injuries to intervertebral discs and has expertise on spinal and musculoskeletal pathology.

Dr. Khakhar's practices are committed to exceptional patient care. His offices have a friendly and knowledgeable staff, including medical doctors, physical therapists and medical technicians.
