
Biography
Dr. Onyinyechi (Onyi) Chidomere is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician with fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine. She has advanced expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal and spine conditions, helping patients restore function, optimize performance, and maintain an active lifestyle.
Dr. Chidomere earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her PM&R residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. She went on to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as Chief Fellow.
With extensive experience in sports medicine and injury management, Dr. Chidomere has worked with athletes at all levels through organizations such as USA Fencing, USA Boxing, and the New York Marathon. She is skilled in using evidence-based, non-surgical, and minimally invasive procedures to treat a broad spectrum of sports-related, musculoskeletal, and spinal conditions.
Dedicated to patient-centered care, Dr. Chidomere combines her clinical expertise with a compassionate, individualized approach focused on supporting safe recovery, promoting activity, and encouraging long-term wellness.
