
Biography
Dr. Fatma Minhas-Kucuk, DAc, LAc is a nationally certified and state-licensed acupuncturist who provides care in New Jersey. She holds Diplomate status with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and brings an integrative approach to patient wellness.
Her academic path includes a Doctor of Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. While completing her studies, she gained extensive hands-on training (more than 700 hours in clinical settings) performing hundreds of treatments that incorporated acupuncture, electrical stimulation, moxibustion, cupping, Tui Na massage, and acupressure. She also completed a hospital internship at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers. Her earlier studies include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hunter College, which informs her understanding of the emotional components of physical health.
Over the past decade, Dr. Minhas-Kucuk has supported patients of all ages with care spanning injury recovery, fertility, women’s health, emotional well-being, smoking cessation, weight management, and pediatric needs. She approaches each individual with the belief that true health is nurtured when body, mind, and spirit are in harmony, and she works closely with patients to create treatment plans aligned with their unique goals.
