Vincent Carlesi, MD, FAAOS, FACS

Dr. Vincent R. Carlesi is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in pain management at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. With extensive training in internal medicine and anesthesia, including chief residency roles at Albany Medical Center and New York Medical College, he has advanced fellowship training in pain management from Albany Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York. Dr. Carlesi is recognized for his expertise in interventional pain treatments, such as epidural steroid injections, facet injections, and spinal cord stimulators.

As Medical Director of Pain Management Associates of Connecticut, Dr. Carlesi leads a team dedicated to personalized pain care. He integrates innovative procedures like vertebroplasty and discography to optimize function and alleviate suffering. Dr. Carlesi also serves on the Medical Board of Physicians for Connecticut’s Medical Marijuana Program, supporting patients in managing pain and symptoms with approved cannabis therapies.
