Alan Nasar, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Alan Steven Nasar is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute in Freehold, New Jersey. He specializes in minimally invasive joint replacement surgeries for hips, knees, and shoulders. Dr. Nasar earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital. He further specialized in joint replacement surgery with a fellowship at the Desert Orthopedic Center in Nevada.

As the Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at CentraState Medical Center, Dr. Nasar combines his medical expertise with a background in mechanical engineering to provide exceptional care.
